The Vampire Diaries will be filming scenes for its upcoming seventh season Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14 in downtown Covington.

According to a letter from the production company, the road closures will start Monday with Hendricks Street closed from Clark Street to Usher Street from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday Hendricks Street from Washington Street to Reynolds Street will be closed from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. P and Washington Street will be closed from Brown Street to Monticello. Police will intermittently hold traffic for filming in the Square from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.

There will be a detour route complete with signs to help route traffic around the Hendricks and Washington intersection.
Bonanza Productions Inc., which films the hit CW series, will start setting up Sunday, July 12 and wrap up Wednesday, July 14.
