Three modular classrooms at Ficquett Elementary School were burglarized over the weekend and officers are still searching for those responsible.
According to reports, officers were called to the school Monday morning and when they arrived met with several teachers in three separate modular classrooms who reported that someone broke into the trailers over the weekend.
In one classroom the teacher informed officers that she was missing an iPod, digital camera and damaged her metal storage bin. In another classroom candy and snacks were stolen and the trailer’s deadbolt had been damaged during the burglary. In the third room, drinks and snacks were stolen and the rear door handle was broken. The total cost for items stolen and damage to the classrooms was approximately $310.
