Mansfield Masonic Lodge #489 will host the 2nd Annual Lamar Hays Antique Tractor Show Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free. The event is a combination of the Mansfield Masonic Lodge's annual BBQ and a tractor show with competitive categories such as most original, best in show, and many more.

The judges of the competition are not affiliated with the lodge.

Several other attractions are going to be at the show, including, but not limited to: live music, vendors, and a "Chips Event," during which a profile will be created for any children in attendance that will help locate and identify him/her in case of emergency. This is also free of charge.

This event is being held to raise money for the lodge and will go toward several different causes in the community.

"We try to help families in the community that have fallen into bad times," said Ray Sikes. "It's our way of giving back to the community... When we help people, we don't really publish it a lot; we just do it to help them out because they support us throughout the entire year."

If anyone would like to place their tractor in the competition for judging, you can do so up until the day of the event.

The lodge is still actively looking for sponsors who may choose to donate from $75 to $200; the deadline to sign up for a sponsorship is next Friday, Oct. 5.

Vendors can still sign up to have booths at the event; the sign-up cost is $35. For more information, you can contact joan@haystractor.com or call (770) 786-3334.
