Did you know that Georgia has more state parks than any other state in the United States? No kidding!

My family has fun any time of the year. There is swimming in the summer, camping in the spring and fall, and playgrounds and nature walks the rest of the year. You'll find museums, historic sites to tour, and other cool things like an observatory! You can even check out a "GO pack" from the public library with a parking pass and free admission into any museum or nature center on site.

Hard Labor Creek, Indian Springs, and High Falls offer unique, fun filled days of adventures and activities for your family. Be sure to check out our state parks at www.gastateparks.org. Day trips to parks around Covington are fun, frugal, and fabulous.
