Around 3,000 runners and walkers came to Covington to support the Covington Police Department and participate in the annual Fuzz Run Saturday.

The 32nd annual Fuzz Run began at 8 a.m. with a 1-mile fun run and tot trot, followed by the 5K race at 8:30 a.m. Jeffrey Dundas was the overall champion, and Katie Smith finished first out of the female competitors.

Proceeds from the Fuzz Run benefit the Police Who Care fund, benefiting several local projects throughout Covington.
