More than two years after the murder of 34-year-old Calvin Kentrell Banks, a third man has been arrested and formally charged in his death.

Daniel G. Adams, 25, was formally charged Aug. 18 with felony murder. The charges against Adams took longer than those against the other two men accused, Ricky Lamont Matthews, 30, and 32-year-old Larry Grison, Jr., because he was hospitalized in Louisiana after being paralyzed from the chest down during the gunfight that allegedly took place in the Appia Way home on June, 29, 2009.

Matthews is currently serving life without parole in Ware State Prison, after being convicted of armed robbery and aggravated assault in the case in late-2010. Grison is currently incarcerated at the Newton County Detention Center awaiting trial.
