Special recognition: The state-champion Piedmont Academy football team, coaching staff, managers, ball boys and cheerleaders were invited to the golden dome of Georgia's state capitol by State Rep. Susan Holmes (125th District) of Jasper County and Sen. Johnny Grant (25th District) of Baldwin County to be recognized for their accomplishment of winning the GISA AA state title and completing an undefeated, 13-game season.
