A Newton County officer pulled over a vehicle with an expired tag.

When the officer asked the driver for her license, she said she did not have it on her.

She then asked the officer to hurry up because she was a teacher at South Salem Elementary School and was late.

When the officer ran her name and birth date, it came back that her license had been suspended because she had failed to appear twice in court.

The officer then arrested the woman for having an expired tag and a suspended license.
