ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters are warning of thunderstorms and high winds in parts of north and central Georgia.
The National Weather Service says scattered thunderstorms and rain are expected to last until Thursday evening near the I-85 and I-20 corridors.
Forecasters say heavy rain could lead to ponding in low lying areas and some storms could lead to winds of up to 45 mph.
Forecasters say afternoon and evening storms are possible through the middle of next week.
