FAIRBURN, Ga. (AP) - Police say a woman whose body was found in the rubble of a Fairburn home that exploded was strangled to death.

The Fulton County medical examiner identified her as 34-year-old Beverly Bland, whose identity was confirmed through dental records.

Neighbors heard an explosion at the home around 2 p.m. Saturday, and Bland's body was one of two bodies discovered once the flames were extinguished.

CBS Atlanta reports that police are not releasing the identity of the second body, but said that person died of smoke inhalation.

Authorities said previously that they considered the blast suspicious, and that arson investigators were called to the scene.

Fairburn is about 20 miles southwest of Atlanta.
