ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say a mix of sleet and light freezing rain will be possible in north Georgia as the latest winter storm moves across the South.

In a special weather statement issued early Wednesday, the National Weather Service said areas along and north of a line from Cedartown to Canton and Cleveland, Georgia, have the best chance for light accumulations. That's a part of the state that includes Rome, Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Dalton, Chatsworth and Blairsville.

Forecasters say freezing rain could accumulate to one-tenth of an inch; with a quarter of an inch of sleet in the region, though higher amounts can't be ruled out.
