GEORGIA - Sen. Brian Strickland (R – McDonough) has been appointed by Governor-elect Brian Kemp to serve as a Governor’s Administration Floor Leader for the 2019 legislative session.
“I am honored that Governor-elect Brian Kemp has given me the opportunity to serve as an Administration Floor Leader for the upcoming legislative session,” Strickland said. “I am looking forward to working with him, as well as leadership in both the Senate and the House, on legislation to tackle critical issues faced by communities throughout Georgia. It is a privilege to serve the state and the citizens of District 17 in this role and I am eager to get back to work making our state as great as it can be.”

Sen. Strickland will serve as an Administration Floor Leader along with Sen. Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia) and will carry the governor’s bills on the Senate floor. The first day of the 2019 legislative session will begin on Jan. 14, 2019.
Sen. Strickland currently serves as an Administration Floor Leader for Gov. Nathan Deal.
