ATLANTA (AP) — A woman is facing three charges after being hit by a freight train in southwest Atlanta.
Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://on-ajc.com/1DEQv9x ) the woman, whose name has not been released, was intoxicated when she was hit by a train early Thursday.
The woman is recovering from injuries to her right foot and left ear at Grady Memorial Hospital.
She has been charged with loitering on railroad tracks, disorderly under the influence and false representation.
Jones says the woman is scheduled to appear in court on June 3.
