ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons have signed two more free agents for their defense, cornerback Phillip Adams and defensive end Adrian Clayborn.

Clayborn, a first-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2011, played in only one game in 2014 due to a torn bicep. He had six sacks and ranked fourth in the NFL with 19 tackles for loss with the Buccaneers in 2013.

The Falcons tied for 30th in the league with only 22 sacks last season.

Adams started four games for the Jets last season. He also has spent time with the 49ers, Patriots, Seahawks and Raiders. He had two interceptions with the Raiders in 2012.

The Falcons also signed linebackers Brooks Reed and Justin Durant, offensive lineman Mike Person and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson this week.
