CONYERS, Ga. (AP) — The lead investigator of the DeKalb County district attorney's office is out on bond after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in suburban Atlanta.
Authorities say Craig Scott was driving about 104 mph on Interstate 20 Friday night when he was pulled over by a Rockdale County Sheriff's deputy.
Investigators say Scott refused to take a DUI test at the scene and authorities obtained a warrant for a Georgia Bureau of Investigation blood-alcohol test. The results are pending and Cpl. Mike Camp says Scott has been charged with speeding and DUI.
The district attorney's office said in a statement that they're aware of Scott's arrest and will handle the matter internally.
Scott bonded out of jail Saturday morning, it's unclear if he has an attorney.
