The Plaza in Atlanta announced on Twitter Tuesday that it will be one of the only theaters in the country to screen the controversial film The Interview, despite threats of violence made by hackers warning against the film's release.
Sony was the target of a cyberattack last month that the FBI has blamed on North Korea, which has allegedly sought retribution for the film's depiction of the authoritarian regime there and especially of leader Kim Jong-Un, who is killed off in the movie.
The film will open Christmas Day and screen at the following times on two screens: 4pm, 5pm, 6:30, 7:30, 9:35
12/26 to 1/1 times will be announced Wednesday, the theater said in another tweet.
