ELLIJAY, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say three teens accused of sexually assaulting a girl at an after-prom party at a north Georgia cabin have been charged with aggravated sexual battery.

Gilmer County Sheriff Stacy Nicholson says Fields Chapman, Avery Johnson, and Andrew Haynes — each 18 years old — have been arrested in a reported attack on a girl during a party in early May at the Coosawattee River Resort in Ellijay.

Authorities have said there was a large amount of alcohol at the party, and the men have also been charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Nicholson spoke during a press conference Wednesday and said most of the people who attended the party have been interviewed by authorities.

The county court clerk says it's unclear if the men have attorneys.
