COVINGTON, Ga. — Severe weather is possible at multiple points during the day Monday.
The National Weather Service said Monday will begin with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, with more showers and storms likely in the afternoon.
Storms could turn severe Monday night.
Rain chances are 60 percent during the day and up to 70 percent by nighttime. Highs will be in the upper 60s with lows Monday night in the mid-50s.
The weather service’s Peachtree City office said the chance of thunderstorms would increase over north and middle Georgia on Sunday night and into Monday afternoon and evening.
Isolated tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds and frequent lightning will be possible.
