You can test out your vocabulary for a good cause on Saturday at the annual Scrabble-Fest fundraiser for Newton County READS.

It's a team Scrabble competition that will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Card Student Center on the Oxford College of Emory University campus. Two players compete in three, 30-minute rounds.

About 10 teams have registered, but you can also register at the door for the competition. Prizes will be awarded to the top-three teams. Door prizes also will be given out and refreshments will be available.
