Satsuki Garden Club holds Sept. meeting, presents service award

The Satsuki Garden Club held their September meeting at the Newton County Library on Sept. 12.

Speaker Debbie Accetturo showed a succulent garden display she created along with a couple of similar plants in pots. Accetturo is the proprietor of Le Petit Jardin at 231 Hancock Street in Madison. She is a master gardener and has more than 10 years in providing professional wedding services in the Atlanta/Lake Oconee area. She also provides unique and tasteful arrangements for other special occasions.

Debbie has a special talent for combining lovely natural elements with uncommon flower specimens to create breathtaking displays.

Le Petit Jardin specializes in unusual cut floral arrangements, unique living plant designs, live plants and distinctive accents with a vintage and European flair.

Satsuki Garden Club President Christy A. Lassiter presents Pam Pace a special "Dedication and Service Award" certificate for her "true and sincere dedication for Satsuki Garden Club for Chimney Park." Pace has spent numerous hours on discussions, planning and special designing of items for Chimney Park, including fairy houses, while also representing the Satsuki Garden Club for some of the projects and some of the events. Satsuki Garden Club will be sending Chimney Park a donation in honor of Pace thanking her for her dedication to this wonderful Covington Project for the community.
