Election Day is off to a rainy start, but for those planning to vote later in the day, rain is expected to largely clear up by around 1 p.m., according to The Weather Channel, while The National Weather service said occasional rain could continue until 3 p.m.
A steady rain is expected to continue through noon with a few showers and thunder possible, according to weather.com; total rainfaill is expected to be half an inch.
High temperatures for the day are only expected to reach around 50 degrees Fahrenheit with winds out of the east-northeast at 10 to 20 mph.
