A weapon and cash was removed from a car parked in Willow Creek Court Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about the vehicle break-in Sunday.

According to reports, an unknown person entered the vehicle and stole a Taurus Millennium semi-automatic pistol and $20 in cash.
