A plot of land off Highway 142 and City Pond Road is currently being cleared to make way for the construction of Three Ring Studios - South Campus Covington Georgia.  The studios will host pre-production/production/post-production of various entertainment projects including film, television, music and video-gaming. Covington’s own Passarella Construction Company is the general contractor on the project handling all aspects of the project (clearing to finish landscaping), Vice President of Covington/Newton Economic Development David Bernd said.  Bernd said there will be sound stages operational by the end of this year with the completion of the rest of the southern campus targeted for 2018.
