The Snapping Shoals EMC Annual Roundup was held at the International Horse Park on July 21, 2016. Despite the heat, this annual event was well attended by members. There were 1,432 registered members in attendance and, with guests, the crowd was estimated at 3,000.

Ms. Gertrude Vanderhorst of Covington was the oldest member in attendance at age 97.

Roy and Helen Goddard of Lithonia were the oldest couple in attendance, both age 93.

Edwin Weik, of Newton County, was the winner of the Grand Prize, a 2002 F-250 that was retired from the Snapping Shoals EMC fleet.
