Paper-filled truck catches fire

A tractor trailer truck carrying a load of paper caught fire Friday morning on Ga. Highway 20 near the intersection with Brown Bridge Road.

Traffic was halted until the fire could be extenguished, but is now running again. No injuries were reported. Newton County firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze by 10:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
