NCSO promotes three employees

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office has recently promoted three employees: Deputy Cortney Morrison and Investigator Michael Cunningham were both promoted to sergeant and Sgt. Kenny Ridling was promoted to lieutenant.

Cunningham will oversee the Office of Professional Standards Unit. Morrison serves as the State Certification Manager and public information officer supervisor.
Kenny Ridling will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Civil Division.

Special recognition of the promotions was given during a ceremony presided over by Sheriff Ezell Brown and Chief Deputy Jerry Carter.
