Mud and Guts
Georgia International Horse Park becomes SEAL course
1

The Georgia International Horse Park turned into a course of mud, barbed wire and ropes for the Metro BattleFrog Obstacle Course Race last weekend.

The course was a 1, 5 or 15K obstacle race designed by Navy SEALS. It required running, climbing, swinging, jumping, swimming and crawling through the mud. The event opened with a U.S. Navy helicopter flyover, followed by the sounds of a cannon before actual Navy SEALS led the first heat.

Some highlighted local finishers were 16-year-old Jordan Dobson of Conyers, who came in 15th overall and third in the 15-19 division and Jenn Northup of Covington who was 49th overall, fifth overall female and second in the female 35-39 division.
