A man accused of child molestation was arrested in Tennessee last week after fleeing a warrant for his arrest out of Newton County.
Kent Stanley Jones, 44, is charged with three counts each of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy and enticing a child.
According to authorities in Hawkins County, Tenn., they received word from the U.S. Marshals Service on Nov. 16 that Jones was at a home there. He was arrested at the home the next day without incident.
Jones is awaiting extradition to Newton County.
