The intersection of Mill Street and Thompson Avenue will be converted into a four-way stop July 5.

Motorists are already required to stop on Mill Street, but a stop sign will go up at Thompson Avenue.

There was previously a stop sign at the Thompson Avenue railroad crossing, but when that was removed the intersection traffic flow was disrupted. Drivers are traveling too fast and can't see at a distance, said Transportation Manager Billy Skinner.
