A man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday evening.

Covington Fire Department assistant fire marshal Capt. Tony Smith said the accident involved a motorcycle and a truck near Green Acres Drive and Ga. Highway 36.

Smith said a man was injured in the accident and that he had been transported to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, later reports said.

The Georgia State Patrol was investigating the accident Saturday evening.
