On Friday. Sept. 18, Pastor Clara Lett along with other prominent female Pastors, Ministers and First Ladies will be honored and inducted into the Hall of Faith by the Leading Ladies of Atlanta. The evening is to celebrate those who have sown into the Body of Christ and the Greater Atlanta Communities with dedication, commitment and excellence. The annual event will be held this year at the Atlanta Marriot Century Hotel in Atlanta. The Keynote Speaker for the night will be International Conference Speaker, Pastor, Preacher, Mentor, Mother and Wife, Medina Pullings.

The purpose of the Leading Ladies Gathering is to bring leading ladies together from all across the Atlanta Metropolitan Area to empower, encourage, equip and inspire them and honor those who have stood the test of time down through the years. It is a time of refreshing and a great opportunity to connect to other leading ladies from all walks of life. A time to fellowship with like-minded women who have been called to the Kingdom for such a time as this. These ladies have truly made a difference in their churches and communities.

Pastor Clara Lett is among the accomplished honorees because she is a trail blazer in the Southern Region of Greater Atlanta. The first female to found and pastor a church in Newton County. Pastor Clara Lett has been the recipient of many awards, accolades and honors in this community as well as others. She is also the founder and CEO of the Garden of Gethsemane Homeless Shelter in Covington. Pastor Lett is dedicated to providing a place of peace and comfort for those finding themselves without a permanent, safe, decent, affordable place to live. Her love for children is evident through her interaction with the children residing in the shelter. She makes a special effort to provide programs and activities for the children. She believes the present and future generation deserves the opportunity to become productive citizens and assume the mantle of leadership. Therefore, every effort must be made to ensure that these (our) children do not become the next victims of a poverty stricken society. Pastor Clara Lett stated that she is humbled to receive this prestigious award from her esteemed co-laborers in the Gospel.
