Covington area singer-songwriter Hannah Thomas has a new CD out, "Acoustic Sessions."

She’ll celebrate its release with a party at 8 tonight at Johnny’s New York Style Pizza, 10176 Carlin Drive.

Thomas will play songs from the CD and will be available to talk with fans.

The CD is an intimate affair that features Thomas’ vocals and guitar playing.

Her original tunes include a sing-along of "Watch out for the Deer" and "Backyard of Georgia"; a ballad, "Tuesday Tears"; and "sophisticated country" on "Love" and "Henry."
