Trombonanza! The Newton County Community Band will perform their annual spring concert on Monday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Eastside High School. Admission to the event is free. The concert is directed by T. K. Adams, and this year the community band will be joined onstage during their performance of “Trombonanza” by eighth grade trumpet players from all four middle schools. Eighth grade musicians are Javontre Lanier and Devin Patton from Veterans Memorial, Michael Conner and Kelsey Foster from Liberty, Ben Bohannon and Damel Hardamon from Indian Creek and Jacob Hill and Margaret Holley from Cousins Middle School.
