The guided tours will lead residents through the historic Gaither's home, historic church, and log cabin on Oct. 26 and 27 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children age 10 and younger, and the plantation will have free activities available for children. Overnight investigations for those 18 years and older is $35. There are limited spots left for the overnight investigation and must be reserved with a deposit which will be half of the total cost.

"Our tour includes the historical information as well as stories of paranormal experiences the East Georgia Paranormal and Central Georgia Paranormal have encountered while investigating the site," said lead investigator Tommy Cook. The tour will start at the home, followed by a hayride to the church and will conclude at the log cabin. The tour is family friendly and appropriate for all ages.

There will be a snack bar which will serve both hot and cold drinks, as well as baked goods.

The events are presented by East Georgia Paranormal and Central Georgia Paranormal, and all proceeds will go to Gaither's Plantation. The plantation is located at 270 Davis Ford Road in Covington.
