Stocking the pantry: Each Covington Elkadette and Elks member has been asked to contribute to the Food Pantry in Newton County this fall. Adrian and Larry Capes have spearheaded this effort by collecting the canned goods and delivering them to the food pantry. Please help by bringing some food items to the Lodge on your next trip. If you want to bring something during Bingo on Monday and Thursday nights the Lodge is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and it would help with this worthwhile project. They also donated emergency personal care kits from Delta to the food pantry.
