A family was at their Lake Charles subdivision home when two males broke in with handguns Wednesday evening.

According to reports, two males kicked in the rear door of a residence and entered with handguns at around 6 p.m. The males, reportedly, yelled at the complainant and pointed the gun toward them.

According to reports, the complainant told dispatch they locked themselves in their bedroom closet.

A search of the residence was conducted upon arrival by NCSO, with no suspects located in the residence. According to reports no items of value were removed from the residence.
