Fall Festival, car show at CrossRoads

CrossRoads Baptist Church , in Social Circle, is holding its 10th Annual Community Fall Festival tonight from 6-8 p.m.

This is a safe trick-or-treat alternative about keeping children safe on Halloween night. The event, free to all, features games, prizes, cake walk, face painting, hayride, bounce houses, Christian entertainment plus a free hot dog and chili meal for everyone.

The church will also host a car show, barbecue and yard sale Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The fundraiser to finish CrossRoads new worship center will be selling barbecue plates for $7, which includes chopped pork BBQ, chips, bread, beans, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Hot dogs and burgers will also be provided.

The church is accepting any donation of any size, and asking businesses and individuals for assistance in providing door prizes, game prizes, food, drinks, cups, plates, napkins and plastic utensils.
