A 19-year-old has been charged with raping a girl he met on Facebook.

According to Lt. Keith Crum with the Newton County Sheriff's Office, Jaquon Marquevious Giles of Lithonia met a 17-year-old female on the social networking site. After talking they decided to meet in person.
After the initial meeting the teen invited him to her home in Covington. As the two became intimate, the girl told Giles to stop, but he didn't, and forced himself on her, Crum said.

On a later date authorities were contacted and met the girl and a parent at the hospital. Giles was subsequently arrested. He remains in the Newton County Detention Center with no bond available.
