Progress reports will be distributed to Newton County School System middle and high school students Thursday.

The following day, Friday, all Newton County public schools will release students early for teacher professional learning.

Elementary (and Theme School) students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.; high school students at 12:15 p.m. and middle school students at 1:15 p.m. On Friday, lunch will be served before students are dismissed, and all students who ride school buses home in the afternoon will be transported to their normal bus stops.
