All Newton County Schools will be closed for Fall Break from Monday, Oct. 7, through Friday, Oct. 11.

The Newton County Board of Education Administrative Offices will be open Monday through Wednesday, but will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Students will report back to school on Monday, Oct. 14. Report cards will be issued to all students on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Friday, Oct. 18 will be an early-release day for students, so that teachers can take part in professional learning activities.

Elementary school students, including students at Newton County Theme School, will be released at 11:15 a.m. High school students will get out at 12:15 p.m., while middle-schoolers will be released at 1:15 p.m.
