School retirements: Barbara Smith, a kindergarten and EIP teacher at Porterdale Elementary School, will retire this year after 30 years of service. Marion Chapman, a media paraprofessional at Porterdale Elementary School, will retire this year after 35 years of service. There will be a reception honoring the two in the school cafeteria from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
