A certified educator job fair is being hosted by Griffin RESA Saturday, April 30 from 10 am-2 pm. The purpose of the job fair is to help recruit teachers to region.

Newton County Schools is currently hiring teachers for the upcoming school year, and recruiters and school administrators from the school system will be participating in the job fair.

Certified educators and those eligible for teaching certification for the 2016-2017 school year are invited to attend. A

ttendees will receive information about teaching opportunities in the South Metro Suburban Region and surrounding school systems. There will also be staff and representatives from eight South Metro Suburban School Systems representing more than 125 schools and more than 100,000 students. Representatives from the Griffin RESA TAPP (Teacher Alternative Preparation Program) will also be on hand to answer questions for eligible participants.
