EHS literary finishes third at Region 8-AAAA meet

Eastside High competed in the Region 8-AAAA Literary Meet on Saturday, at Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega.
Eastside finished third overall in the region. The following students participated:
•Girl Solo: Julianna Laseter (2nd place)
•Boy Solo: Sam Potts (4th place)
•Girl Trio: Jasmine Green, Julianna Laseter, and Mary Lathem (2nd place)
•Boy Quartet: Robbie Ellwanger, Kyle Maclagan, Sam Potts and Tim Tukes (3rd place)
•Girl Extemporaneous Speaking: Jennifer George (2nd place)
•Boy Extemporaneous Speaking: Tevin Norman (2nd place)
•Girl Dramatic Interpretation: Danysha Lamadieu
•Boy Dramatic Interpretation: Tommy Powell (4th place)
•Girl Essay: Mary Lathem
•Boy Essay: Cole Rogers.
