For the past four years the Eastside Drama Players have brought you to tears through laughter every spring with their annual farce. This year is no different with their production of Broadway's smash hit "Lend Me A Tenor," by Ken Ludwig.
Set in the 1930s, "Lend Me a Tenor" is a madcap screwball comedy about Tito Merelli, a fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, who arrives in Cleveland to make his debut with the local opera and promptly goes missing.
As Saunders, the show's presenter, conspires to cover for Tito's absence, placate his hot-blooded wife, and distract his most passionate fans, chaos on a truly operatic level ensues.
This show is intended for young adult audiences and up. The show will take place at 7 p.m. March 17 -19 and at 3 p.m. March 20. It lasts two hours with a 10 minute intermission.
Tickets will be sold at the door. Admission is $5 for students, $7 for adults and free admission for teachers.
