Valdosta State University announces its Dean’s List for Fall 2012. Students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional (GPA of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean's List.

Jennifer McFall, from Covington, GA, graduated with a B S in Medical Laboratory Science from Armstrong Atlantic State University Dec. 8. Armstrong Atlantic State University, part of the University System of Georgia, was founded in 1935 and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs.
Angie Hurtt, daughter of Geni and Perry Hurtt of Covington, has been named to the first semester honor roll at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, N.C., where she is in 12th grade. To be elibigle for the honor roll a student must maintain a weighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher in at least five academic courses while maintaining the status of a student in good standing with the Judicial Board and administration.
