COVINGTON, Ga. - Dr. Jamie Adams and employees of Covington Family Chiropractic recently stopped by Middle Ridge Elementary School to drop off numerous boxes and bags of school supplies for students in need. The local business conducted a school supply campaign with employees and patients at the practice.
“It’s important for us because we like to give back to the community and it was important for us to donate school supplies especially,” Adams said, adding that the practice conducted a ‘Christmas in July’ and instead of collecting Christmas gifts, they collected school supplies. “We know that there’s a huge need and one of our missions is to give back and serve our community. We rallied our patients and staff and were able to collect numerous school supplies to support children in our community. We’re proud to be able to support the students here at Middle Ridge.”
“We truly appreciate the support of Dr. Adams and the employees and patients at Covington Family Chiropractic,” Rhonda Battle, principal of Middle Ridge, said. “Through this generous donation we will be able to ensure students who need additional assistance will have access to school supplies throughout the school year. As an educator, it makes me proud to see the tremendous support for our schools from businesses like Covington Family Chiropractic. By working together, we can make a difference in the lives of our students.”
