Dennis Carpenter has not been chosen as superintendent for Peach County Schools.

The current deputy superintendent for Newton County Schools, Carpenter was one of the top three picks for the superintendent's position.

In the end, Peach County went with one of their own, Joe Ann Denning, who was most recently the director of student services in Peach County.
