Califf Carnes, a senior at Eastside High School, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from American Legion Auxiliary Unit 32. Califf, who will attend the University of Georgia in the fall, is the great grandson of Montine and Dan Clower. Montine Clower was one of the founding members of Unit 32 and served as unit president and state president.
