Cagle Announces $3 Million in Funding to Newton College and Career Academy

Today, Lt. Governor Casey Cagle announced $3 million in Career Academy funding for the Newton College and Career Academy, a partnership between the Newton County school system and DeKalb Technical College.  This award was made official today after approval by the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia.  These funds will be matched with local funding commitments. The Career Academy initiative was spearheaded by Cagle in 2007.
