Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce officials recently pledged to stop drinking and supplying bottled water, because, frankly, all that plastic is not good for the environment.

Instead, local business and chamber member Household Water Specialists provided the chamber with a Kinetico reverse osmosis, energy efficient water filtration system. The system replaced an old water cooler fountain.
